Argon Gas for Welding and Industrial Use

Ar

Argon (Ar) is a naturally occurring rare gas, accounting for approximately 0.93% of the volume of Earth's atmosphere. It is a colorless and odorless monatomic gas with extremely strong chemical inertness. Similar to nitrogen, under standard temperature and pressure, argon has very low reactivity, making it highly suitable for use in inert atmosphere environments.

Main applications:

1/Inert protection: It can form a protective environment to prevent oxidation and deterioration of metals, pigments, and other sensitive materials.
2/Antibacterial effect: It replaces oxygen to inhibit the growth and reproduction of bacteria.
3/Food preservation: It is used to improve atmosphere packaging to extend the shelf life of food.
4/Welding protective gas: Widely used in TIG (GTAW) and MIG (GMAW) welding to prevent the molten weld pool from being contaminated by air.
